I have ( had) three different pots with Chamaedorea sp growing in them for many years. I planted some in the ground last year and now I am planting the others also in the ground, were they grew and will grow a lot better. Unfortunately I lost the tags ( bad plastic, they aren' t readable anymore) I slightly remember Chamaedorea glaucifolia, but I am not sure if all them were the same. 1)First this one that I planted in the ground a year ago:

Alt:1030m. Native palms: Queen, B. eriospatha, B. microspadix, Allagoptera leucocalyx , A.campestris, Geonoma schottiana, Trithrinax acanthocoma. Subtr. climate, some frosty nights. No dry season. August: driest month. Rain:1700mm

Why my photos doesn' t appear?

Carambeí, 2nd tableland of the State Paraná , south Brazil.

Alt:1030m. Native palms: Queen, B. eriospatha, B. microspadix, Allagoptera leucocalyx , A.campestris, Geonoma schottiana, Trithrinax acanthocoma. Subtr. climate, some frosty nights. No dry season. August: driest month. Rain:1700mm

 

I am seeking for cold hardy palms!

I managed to look in to some of those pictures. They do look like glaucifolia but the too little wax on the upper part of the stem and the petioles. Have the plants been recently subjected to rainfall?

Yes, the summer is the rainiest season.

Two different tipe of insertions of the leaflets on Chamaedoreas of two different pots..... Are both C. glaucifolia?
