About 13 ft. tall.

I saw this one in a residential area west of New Orleans. I suspect it is a native remant specimen that was there before it was reclaimed swampland.

    That's interesting, thanks for sharing. I have what was supposed to be a brazoria palm that is looking more like a louisiana.  Mine has been a fast trunker too.

    That is very cool. The largest ones I have ever seen only had one and a half or two feet of trunk.

    Question. So are sabal louisiana fast trunkers? Here's my sabal (purchased as a Brazoria but seems like a louisiana) louisiana. Is it possible for a sabal louisiana to have trunked this fast? This is 2026 and2021.

    It was planted as a 7g in 2021 and has a fat (2-3' around) trunk about 12"-16" tall.
