How do you report some suspicious activity

Who or how does one go about reporting to the powers that be of done possibly sketchy activity

@8B palms If the offending item is a post, you can report it by clicking the three dots in the top-right of the post and then selecting Report.  See the example below:

 

If the offending item is a Private Message, I'll let @PALM MOD weight in on that.

Thank you. I think there was a scammer on here trying to sell palms but they don’t exist, and so I didn’t want others to get cought in that trap, thank you.

It basically was trying to find a current price and availability of hybrid palms from Patric Schaffer. I have several of his creations. I had emailed him but it can be a while before he gets back to you. I posted in the wanted section if for one had a current list and I got a private message saying I should contact this person. This was all then gone via Gmail but they supposedly had a PalmTalk user name “jackson09”, well this does not appear to be anyone, maybe it’ was before. Anyway this person said he had what I needed $45, before even telling him what I wanted. I asked for a picture and he sent one. Of Patrick’s hybrids but if you google Patrick’s hybrids you can find that picture and YouTube video from several years back.  This persons email is Thomasgullar06@gmail, he said just needed to send him all the pertinent info and he’d get them in the mail. So I said you know Patric sometimes generates unusual items if you send me the list maybe there might be something I hadn’t considered but I might want. Since then silence. Ironically about 6 hours later I did here from Patric himself, i told him the whole store sent him the email chain, he said he’d never heard of this guy, I just didn’t want anyone else falling for this scam.

He is definitely a scammer and has been banned. But always be alert, as these guys can sign up under another name and/or email.

i figured it was a scam, $45 for a partic Schaffer generated hybrid, are both individuals scammers or is the person who suggested I reach out just a situational victim? i have been purchasing from Patric for the last 15 years. I just did not know who or how to report the issue here. I did not want someone else to fall into this trap here as peoples budgets are tight enough,
