Post your fastest grower(s) this year. My winner this year is Syagrus sancona. 7 fronds and growing like 4-5 times its original size in a single year is crazy.

14 months on Thrinax Radiata between photos. Been pretty impressed.

8 months on Chrysalidocarpus Pembanus.

Have some Archontophoenix that grew the fastest, just no good before and after shots.

For me it’s Bentickia condopanna. 1gal to a very full 7gal this year. I’ll follow up with pics. Away from home and hope last couple nights didn’t damage it too much under tree canopy @ 34 degrees. I’ll know tomorrow and follow up here.

Probably the yard Washie as far as palms go. It's doing exactly what I want and getting fatter instead of taller, currently peppered with frost damage and I pulled about 20 pounds of weeds out of the bed since I've been so focused on the indoor grow room and my health.

Maybe the palmetto from seed? It's pushing a 3rd strap leaf, the 2nd is about 15".

Honestly though, everything else is taking my attention away from the palms.

I had always believed they were slow too. It was severely root bound in the pot, so I think it was just happy to finally hit dirt.

The fastest palms in my garden of all the ones I have planted in the last year and a half are the Rhopalostylus Bauri Cheesmania and a Dypsis Plumosa . The Rhopalostylus has more than doubled in size as has the Plumosa. Harry

Minor leaf damage from 34 deg and some steady winds.
