What do y'all wanna see from my setup on YouTube? More Sancho? The repurposed ghetto stuff I'm improvising on such a low budget? Showcasing certain plants?

I don't have the nice manicured gardens some of y'all have yet. I don't have the calming Mr. Rogers voice and vibe like @Allen has. I don't know how to edit videos, and I do cuss a little. I don't have the scientific knowledge to do deep dives and analyze things. It's all one take on a cheap Android phone. Ok sometimes 2 or 3 takes if I get something wrong or go over the 3 minute cutoff for "shorts" and unfortunately lots of jump cuts since I've only got 2 hands.

Not everyone has the natural appeal on YouTube. You’ve apparently got to really LIKE to do this with no expectation of financial reward or fame for several years sometimes..  I do wish there were a bunch of palm content to watch also but there isn’t as much overlap in palm knowledge and ability/desire to film and post.
I suggest watch the Floribunda videos a few dozen times and then check out the JPS webinars if anyone is looking for palm content. I want to learn on YouTube or watch people living out their passions.

What I've been doing isn't really so much palm content as it is low-buck DIY indoor stuff. Yeah there's palms, sure, and I realize that this is even more niche content than palm stuff - which, let's be real, is already a niche hobby.

I loved cactus when i was quite young and lived in AZ. i appreciate the couple folks that do that content well and enjoy watching them go deep into their palnts. The passion is contagious and i get motivated myself. One guy Aridzine is a teacher by profession so he has natural talent to relay knowledge. Cactus quest is super curious and travels a lot so i enjoy that variety too.

I think IPS should recruit some of the youngest members to steer PALMS into user friendly, entertaining, and educational short from content. There’s decades of articles to source /repurpose /renovate as content. I’m not that tech savvy but i can see where some opportunities for growth may lie.

I openly admit I'm not smart or knowledgeable enough to do deep dives like some have done. And I'm biased but I think Sancho cameos enough should draw more attention. And I'm not trying to get famous or monetized or anything here, just generally wondering what people want to see so I can do it. But I agree with you on an outreach program to bring youth in. The best time to plant a palm tree is 20 years ago unless you're young, then it's today.
