Im in Charleston. Does anyone have a recommendation for where to get a mule palm? I know of a couple around here that have thrived.

I bought a 3 to 5 gallon sized mule from tytyga.com. They don't have a stellar reputation on some online forums, so I was hesitant. I caught them when there was a sale that brought the price into a range at which I was willing to roll the dice.

The palm arrived safe and healthy. I still have it in a pot until the spring. I am happy with the purchase so far.

If you want seeds some people sell F1 seeds on eBay

Lowest seen: 16F, Highest seen: 105F. Heavy red clay (iron oxide). Amended to 6.5-7PH using Dolomitic lime. (No yearly fertilizer for lawn, just for independent plants).
