My neighbor has lost 5 this year

I hope you didn't have any nice Cycads where that dropped.  That was quite the impact.

Regarding the weevils, do you see them flying around in the late afternoons on sunny days? While they have killed many large old CIDP in my neighborhood,  there still are some CIDP living including a young one across from my backyard.   My younger dog likes to chase the weevils and tries to jump up and catch them in flight.  I just hope they move on eventually as opposed to attacking other palm species., particularly my Pritchardias.

Tracy, that palm was on my neighbors property adjacent to my yard. I have only one Canary and I’ve been treating it for about a year systematically and so far so good 😊

Man that sucks! Its crazy that something as small as a weevil can take out such a big majestic bulletproof palm! They have pretty much decimated the populations in my neighborhood. They seem to be working their way north. They dont seem to care for Jubaeas thankfully as the ones at mission bay seem to be doing fine.

Urban Rainforest Palms,Cycads and Exotics. Were in San Diego Ca. about 5 miles from the beach on Tecolote canyon. It seems to be an ideal growing climate with moderate temps. and very little frost. Vacation Rental in Leilani Estates, big island Hi PM me if interested in staying there.
