Good friend of mine. Developed over the last couple weeks. Unfortunate but looks cooked to me. Thoughts?

I think it's LB but I don't live in FL where it's prevalent. Can you get another photo of an individual leaf that is partially bronzed to see the development?

I think it's Lethal Bronzing and suggest removal at the earliest possible opportunity.

Time to plant a livistona

Agree with answers above. Don't plant another Phoenix. Livistonas are excellent palms with quite a few species to choose from. I lost many of mine to Hurricane Ian but not their fault. Ian ripped 4 of my 6 massive Bismarckias out of the ground and dropped them on my Livistonas, i.e. crushed them. I gave up on Bizzies right then - they can't withstand catastrophic hurricane winds. I doubt you'll face a cat4/5 storm like we did.
