That is what happens when a Tesla driver believes the fiction that the company president says about the full self driving mode.  Full disclosure, I have owned a Tesla for 4 1/2 years and would never rely on the full self driving mode.  I don't know if it was responsible in this case but when people aren't paying attention and believe the car can operate autonomously similar accidents have occurred. 

I am sorry it was a Royal palm but happy it wasn't a person.
