There is a California based burger joint that is setting up shop in Tennessee. They already have the palm trees.

Sweet!  They could last for a decade, or they might be wiped out next year, LOL.  Nashville can have stretches of zone 8 winters, but also can get down to zero or possibly (rarely) lower on occasion.  At any rate, I'm very happy to see In-N-Out Burger in Nashville and even more happy to see them planting palms there!

The further east and north In-N-Out venture they might eventually go with crossed Trachycarpus!

If it were me, there would be Little Gem Magnolias and variegated Hollies. I'd reserve some landscape money for April and drop in Trachycarpus then.

Ive managed to keep my trachy and butia alive for years but with much effort. They should plant needles and s minor and call it a day.

The Inn n Out by my old place in Salem, Oregon didn't even plant palms.   The landscaping was very nondescript,  I never understood that.
