It’s a lovely palm, that deserves to be in any garden!

Great looking palm. I’ve got 3 of these guys but pretty slow though in the seedling stage at least.

They look really good. Hopefully some seeds soon. Are these from Rosebud Farm. I’ve got a few of these growing fine around here. Not as old as yours though. Tough as nails and beautiful.

Slow in the shade, my ones are around 25 years old. They do like sun to dappled light.

Yes a couple of rosebud ones, they seem to be getting better looking with age. And tough as!

Ox rhino beetles have repeated attacked and ultimately killed most of my Raveneas.

My beetle goes after not yet trunking sizes unlike the CRB.

However so far so good on three of this species. Fingers crossed

Do you think it will become a thing with this beetle that you may not be able to plant and grow new palms, as they destroy seedlings and advanced palms. Or is it just certain varieties of palms they attack? This beetle sounds do devastating and I fear the day it arrives in Australia.
And can it successfully be controlled?
