You know, Richard, this world is perfect because someone perfect created it. Imagine the botany of palm trees, so beautiful and unparalleled in this world. Before I leave this earth, or before God takes me, I will finally see the beauty of palm trees. Because I will spend my life and all my days having fun with them. Because there is nothing as beautiful as this world filled with palm trees and exotic beauty.

There is nothing more beautiful than a palm tree, when the day comes for me to say goodbye they can chuck my ashes in my garden, but just remember Ernest time you look at your palms trees in your garden remember they are thinking one day I will eat you!

Richard, these specimens must be used to the fullest, and you will always marvel at their beauty. One palm tree is worth several ordinary trees.

At age 16 I discovered palms by accident literally, I run a dog over on my motorcycle and that accident led me to apologise to the lady who was the owner of the dog. And she was working in a kentia nursery, and that led to discovering palms. And to this day I still love kentia palms.

Interesting, Richard. And it's not just the palm trees that will be added to your life. How many more beautiful things will you come to know, whether earthly or spiritual? You are intelligent, like many of us. I discovered palm trees 10 years ago. I wanted to have a unique palm tree, the most perfect on the planet. I liked them all. But there was one palm tree that was unique and more beautiful than all. It had a beautiful bearing and was dressed in majesty, and its leaves and fronds looked up to the sky. That is the date palm. It is compared to the coconut tree, but more beautiful and majestic. Especially the Medjool variety, and some others from the Middle East. A simple palm tree of the greatest luxury and grandeur. Imagine how it was carved and drawn in King Solomon's temple, that temple full of gold and glory.

The date palm one of the oldest plants to be utilised by humanity. And still to this day being used to benefit us all. You have a good reason to love this palm as many thousands of years have proven such for this palm.

The Babylonians, the parents of the Jews, already mastered them. They had a millennia-long cultivation, while the European peoples were still savage and less civilized. It's easy to realize the truth and the most excellent things in life.

I can’t believe I’ve never been to the Sydney Botanical Gardens and call myself a palm enthusiast.

I’m living overseas at the moment but next chance I’m back in Aus this is number 1 on the list!
I lived in Cairns for a while and spent a lot of time in the Fletcher Botanical Gardens but given the climatic differences it’s amazing what they’ve got growing in Sydney.

Definitely drop and see the gardens it’s a must do. It is a temperate climate zone but with all that concrete jungle in the city and the established garden, it’s a great microclimate. And there’s a stack of palms in there if you know where to look.
