We have a little palm oasis in the parking lot of my workplace in Berkeley, not particularly inviting but better than nothing. I think these are some sort of Phoenix, but one trunk looks very different from the other two. The petioles have wicked spines at their bases, and there are many offsets. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Take a look around at some of the older palms nearby. Yes, they're Phoenix but my guess is roebellini x ??

I think these are hybrids.

Looks like some definite P. reclinata genes there. There’s so much hybridizing with Phoenix palms. Perhaps reclinata x roebelenii.
