Woof. That's all I've got to say. I got my butt kicked earlier and sweated like a goat, but I ate some Lucky Charms and took my night night meds and went back out there. I mean, there's really no better time to stand on a rickety old chair drilling into your ceiling with an antique power drill than after you've taken sleeping pills and Valium.

The staggered lighting I wanted to do didn't work because I didn't take into consideration that the daisy chain power cord is literally one foot long. Sooooo it is what it is. It'll still work.

That's the current inside temperature at 1:45am. I do need to zip tie the wires and pretty it up a little, but you know what? It's almost 90 degrees at almost 2am in here. It can wait. Also professionally mounted! Look at me! This makes up for all the janky mess in the light hanging - and it is very janky.

I want to get a larger bulb for over here. But this one was there and it was basically just to get everything in place and make sure it didn't burn the house down. So far, it has not.

I talked to my late uncle while I was doing this because this was his area. I told him I'd leave some of his cars out. Believe me there's another entire desk with shelves that is also packed with Hot Wheels cars. Anyway I also notice that the Etonia and Sansevieria are HORRIBLY over potted now that I sent some off in a trade.

Next up, I need to find a humidifier, buy a power strip - all of these lights turn on and off individually and the heat mat has no power switch. But I've got a nice clean germination station now so I'm one step closer to becoming @happypalms and I've got a very well lit overwintering table. The lights can all be adjusted up and down. Also need to find some fans and maybe a small space heater for winter.

I'm kinda proud of myself here. This is actually a nice little setup, $60 all in for everything pictured except the table and the plants.

Good on you! Nice set up , keep the die cast! You gonna be the king of palms/tropicals in  your area. A couple of Dinky toys or Corgi toys would be right at home. Harry75090452360__A0F872E9-2743-4E98-B2B0-6925F64E749A.thumb.jpeg.b63c306079c910449986f46f543f60bf.jpeg

There's a very good chance he had some. There's a bunch of old Buddy L and Tonka stuff too. I've got a bunch of stuff still in packages from the early 2000s in one of my storage bins, but my uncle had hundreds. Some of the old stuff might be worth a couple bucks.
