Just a couple of Ernie’s growing extremely well, so easy to grow just add water. This batch was from rps and a good germination rate was achieved. I plant them out as tubes they grow that well in my garden. I think a nice group planting of 50 would look nice in a shaded place in the garden!

@gyuseppe sorry to hear . They grow pretty fast though and seem to be available . I just love “ Ernie” he’s my buddy . He’s right at my door to greet me as I come home and there to send me off to work in the morning. Sometimes just there to listen to me tell him how much he means to me !
That is some family of Ernie’s you have there Richard . It reminds me of my first visit to see Dave . A whole bunch of them in the shade just lined up like ducks! I had to bring a couple home . There is just something very special about them . Harryimage.thumb.jpg.727251b5edfe5ac9d1a31ca4b9d857a1.jpg

This guy has been here for over a year now and more than doubled in size. It must be Irish , it doesn’t want fertilizer , just a drink( or three)every  now and then !

@gyuseppe Lo siento. Crecen bastante rápido y parecen estar disponibles.
Me recuerda a mi primera visita a Dave.

He's a great Irish friend Harry

A very beautiful species, Richard and apparently it doesn't grow taller than 6 ft, which can also be an advantage.

Chamaedorea Ernesti-Augusti are beautiful. They produce seeds in 10 or 15 years. Some do so sooner. Last night I bought about 10 seeds from Etsy. I hope the propagation goes well. It's a shame RPS doesn't have them in stock yet.

Good luck with your ETSY seeds. When rps last had them purchased 300 seeds knowing how good they are.

Richard will give you seeds from him. We are all grateful, including me, for what he does is so noble and beautiful. Imagine, palm trees are a gift from God, and having them given to you by someone else is also a gift. And the fact that they are so beautiful is another gift. It's a triple gift and blessing. Richard is a great friend and knows a lot about palm trees palmensalmmer

Mucha suerte con tus semillas de Etsy. La última vez que RPS las compró, compré 300 semillas sabiendo lo buenas que son.

The person who sold them to me sells 10 seeds. Although he said he'd add one as a gift at my request. It's a new one for me, and I hope it's a new one for every collector.

Now I understand, Giuseppe, my friend. And congratulations on your son. You have a great professional in your family. I'm just getting around to it with Ernesti-Augusti. I hope to germinate the few seeds I bought. That in itself is also important.

I don’t mind giving a few seeds if I have them, sharing is caring they say, and i learn something new everyday about palms. Palm talk has some very knowledgeable minds, a great way to learn about growing palms is just one of the benefits, meeting like minded people who have a common interest.

Richard, as you bless, you will be blessed. Giving something is a gift, and not everyone has it. And we are all very grateful for you, you and many others on this beautiful forum. And we never know if we'll wake up alive or dead. Life is short, and we have to share it however we can, or with what we have at hand, or even with a beautiful friendship. God bless you, Richard. And you and your beloved wife have a beautiful family.

It’s not hard to be friendly and treat people how you would like to bet treated yourself. Iam not into talking behind peoples back or slandering them. I have better things to do than give someone a hard time, we all make mistakes in life, it’s not hard to forgive someone. Just be nice to other people.

That's right, Richard. The gardens are dazzling with their great beauty. They radiantly illuminate the soul of anyone who beholds them. Men burst into laughter of pride at such incomparable exoticism. They talk, saying, "This beauty is like nothing ever seen before," and they exclaim loudly to one another, "These are like virgin gardens where no man has ever ventured, much less left or entered." So, when they contemplate such an incomparable treasure of exotic places full of mysteries, they allow themselves to be dominated by this new and great treasure of theirs. For now, men walk around rejoicing, their lips filled with laughter, for in their hearts, day and night, they will not cease to speak of what they have seen in their imaginations. This is your new life, arriving at a beautiful and tender palm tree.
