A couple palm friends in the PSSC went to Tahiti and took some awesome pictures. Including these!

Our family was blessed to be able to travel to Tahiti years ago . It is a magical place for sure . Friendly people , warm ocean water with lots of beautiful snorkeling, and the palms that we can’t grow. Thanks for sharing the pics . Harry

My wife and I spent our honeymoon there in 2009 for a couple of weeks - the scenery is still burned in my mind. What a beautiful place!

If you are a nerd then you are in good company . No reference intended @JohnAndSancho. When we went , my daughter was young and it was better than any photos I looked at on the internet. We were there on Moorea for 10 days and did some cool stuff. One of the activities we did was rent a motor scooter and circumnavigate the island . My wife didn’t care to do that so it was just my daughter and I. It was magical , palms and lush growth at every turn. Harry

In the series Marvel's Agents of Shield, one of the plot lines is Agent Colson underwent a top secret procedure to save his life after he got killed and they wiped his mind and made him think he was in Tahiti while he was actually dead, and every time someone said the word Tahiti (it came up a few times), he'd say "It's a magical place."

Hello Dave, my friend, that sculpture looks like a Moai, one of those found on Easter Island (Rapa Nui).
