Where can these be found? Iโ€™m looking for one

I've never seen any this big. I usually see 4" pots on Etsy for anywhere from $90-150. I got this one at Lowes in Laurel.ย

Thanks John, I am mulling a mini road trip. Are you going to try this in the ground or keep in a pot? Im feeling like these might not come back in the spring like our others and may need to join the crowd of potted porch plants.

Oh buddy, this is gonna be a potted patio plant. From what I've read, full sun here will cook them. You're not gonna find another one this size for the price, I can tell you that much. Plus there's the famous jeep/motorcycle/truck stop/gun shop/diner up there. This was all a chance find though. Go snag one before they're all gone.ย

If you ever wondered how much fun it is to remove banana pups from a rootbound 5 gallon bucket, I'd have to rate it somewhere between listening to your drunk uncle talk about politics, and getting kicked in the crotch. Mr. Mekong popped off with a few more, for a total of 6. I also didn't realize just how deep they actually go so I'm like elbow deep in the soil like I'm delivering a baby calf with my knife and my $6 fake Hori Hori knife that's about as sharp as a pool noodle completely useless and then the rain comes.

I've grown bananas from pups with no roots before, @5am sent me a couple and one has already pupped. The one with the roots is a Blue Java/Ice Cream and I can honestly without lying advertise it as a true locally grown pup and it's also WAY bigger than the 2" tissue culture plugs.

Lord, I do not wanna do the wall of bananas thing again this winter. But it looks like I'm gonna end up with at least 5 or 6 again.

As soon as these root out they'll be available.
