I like this plant a lot, it started out as a $6 clearance at Houston Garden Center. It definitely makes a statement, that's for sure. And packing it up will be a challenge. But it just sits there and grows, I have to keep it out of the way of everything because the foliage is super firm and it'll knock over anything if you try to move it.

It's still amateurly staked because somehow it has virtually no rootball and it'll fall over if you fart in the room with it. I don't know the exact species - I've seen them described as fernwood, Mikado, cylindrica, but now I definitely know why so many growers braid them. Would like to see it go somewhere it can be appreciated and seen - I've had it just sitting in a window for at least a year, it's never been fertilized, it might get a splash of water twice a year. Anyway just trying to use the stuff on the shelf to give a scope of the size and spread of this thing - it will literally fill an entire window horizontally and it's over the latch vertically.

Some close ups of the texture and coloring on it. Beautiful plant but it's just sitting there.

$65 OBO plus shipping and packing this thing up is gonna be fun. That foliage is firm. Open to trades too. I think it'd be better off in a shallow deep pot, I can attempt to wrap it up in like a flannel pillowcase tied loosely or something. Inbox is open.

Buying this plant automatically makes you cooler. Your friends don't have one like it. Your family doesn't have one like it. And that there is a genuine Wendy's fork and genuine string from a Crown Royal bag holding it up, I can include those at no extra cost. Makes a great gift for whatever holiday is coming up next! I also took pictures of all of the damage to it. That's it. Those 2 little spots and that one little scratch.

I love it, it's awesome, it's literally zero maintenance, but I have to put it out of the way because it knocks everything over. Fair warning, I'm probably going to have to put it in a big box, but that means there's more room to buy more stuff from me to pack around it.

Woof. If I could get this thing to stay straight and hold the camera at the same time, I think it clears the yardstick.

I've got a couple OK looking Bermudanas left, I've got one that's yellow for some reason (maybe I post it on eBay as a rare variegated one and list it for $20,000), and a triple that haven't grown as well because well, I put 3 seeds in one pot.
