NOTE - scroll to last post to read about latest seed release!

————

Due to the amount of time it takes, I have stopped selling seed directly from here. I moved to eBay and have a lot of rare palms setting seed right now. I will update this thread as it comes online.

Right now I uploaded C. baronii “Black Stem” and a few other gems.

Thanks for the link, Len.  I bought the P. minor seeds, the only species of the genus that has worked for me.  :greenthumb:

I recommend trying Etsy to sell also.  Fees are considerably cheaper than feeBay.

No, not much of a Brahea guy. Wished I had known I was just down in Oaxaca and could have grabbed seed from a few different forms of Dulcis and Calcarea.

I'll fess up to being the culprit that grabbed the "Black Stem!"

Thanks :) The two other flowers on the plant have seed ripening. Hope to have more in week or so.

Few years ago I tried and they are super strict on CITES plants - even seed from cultivation would be blocked for sale on there.

It’s brutal. But super easy to manage sales, shipping, etc.

Thanks. Most do well in the Zone 8 areas of Texas. Seed options for them seemed to have dried up after the drug war spiked.

No palm seeds AND no drugs? I weep for our country.

Just put some ‘Black Stem’ into a baggie. Thanks Len for the 33 seeds when I ordered 25 😃 My first attempt at germination so wish me luck. BTW does anyone use Physan 20 as a fungicide and if so, what has been your experience? I just followed label directions, 10 minute soak in a fairly weak solution.

These will germinate quickly. Mine from the first batch about a month earlier are popping.

Im in a drier area, so I never soak in fungicide. Sometimes if seed is old, I’ll soak in Superthrive.
