Licuala orbicularis flowering

Featured Replies

Come across this orbicularis flowering today in the Coffs Harbour botanical gardens. Not very often you get to see a licuala orbicularis flowering in the subtropical climate.

That’s a good sign that the palm is doing well. Hard to get everything just right for such a tropical loving palm. The winter didn’t seem to hurt it. Harry

Oh boy, that’s something special. Such gorgeous little palms.

Showing its age as well to be flowering. It’s in a conservatory my dream grow enclosure. Fully heated controlled microclimate oh what we would do for that space to grow in.

A happy palm showing off a rare event.

They don’t get any better than being in a heated conservatory in a subtropical climate!
