You're giving the Hawaiians a run for their money down there, sir. You've got all the tropical vibes without the volcanoes and the insane cost of living.

Absolutely gorgeous Richard. I love the palms , of course , but the Clivia- like flowers really add to the garden. Harry

Very pretty. Why does the top palm have a thicker top than the palms in the lower pic?

Who needs Hawaii when you got happypalms growing just as good, besides that you gotta give @realarch a run for his money it’s not all about sitting around looking at your palms so they grow, I have to water mine in the great land down under! Lucky Hawaii growers, they say we Aussies do it better, even those ones in @Jonathan in chilly Tasmania give them a run for there money. But secretly don’t tell them I said that!🌱

Thanks Harry, there rhododendrons a great plant that possibly would grow in your climate in a dappled light spot even bright shade.

It’s not far from flowering, the pregnant look!
