Growing in its current spot for over twenty years, this Wallichia flowers continually and each stem eventually dies off a few years later but new stems are always being produced as well. Anyone else have photos to share?

    They have their beauty but they’re not dwarves in my experience.

    I have 3 in the garden and 2 of them are pretty big and put on quite a show. And I get viable seeds that are easy to germinate, and as @DoomsDave said there not the smallest palm in the garden so Himalaya dwarf hmmm not really, but I suppose in comparison to a Caryota maxima they are dwarf.

    Dave, what would you consider dwarf? This palm clump is 6’ tall and 7’ wide. My other Fishtail palms (Caryota) are monsters in comparison. :)

    Here's one I planted in Gainesville, FL at University of Florida in 2009. This photos is from 2017. They are a very cold-hardy palm as Gainesville is USDA Zone 8b. Hopefully I will get updated photos in September!
