Summer: 12°C (53°F) average min, to 21°C (70°F) average daily max. Up to 40°C (104°F max) rarely.

If it were mine I’d do anything in my power to avoid removal but I know it’s not always that simple.

I was actually thinking, especially if crowded ground is the issue @DoomsDave whether you could trim suckers to keep it as a single? It’s a sparsely clumping species so shouldn’t give you too much ongoing work.
