When you buy back a palm you actually sold carpoxylon macrospermum

I definitely have confirmation iam a palm addict, when I sold a carpoxylon to a retail outlet that had a nursery I never thought i would buy one of my own palms back. The one lone carpoxylon I couldn’t resist knowing how good they are I just wasnt going to let it go to any old garden, it can come back home with me. I was in there with the wife buying her some flowers and thought omgbit hasn’t sold yet. Right I thought I will buy the dam thing for my garden again. Yes I know rocks in my head and I have a therapist booked in next week for an ocd palm buying session, go figure!

Looks like it needs you. Had it been watered there?

I hope you don't warranty the plants. Here in the US, the nursery backs the one-year warranty given by the big box stores. Too many of these stores don't water their stock.

I might change my therapist if that will help. Because the only thing that is helping is buying more palms at the moment!

Yes they do the same here give a warranty on plants. Not in my nursery though I know I sell good quality plants. But I had to buy it being a rare palm and all!

It is time for you to buy a Pekingese to diversify your nurturing instinct.

Ask Tim in Melbourne.  He has a nice little one. Erica can do you a far better deal than those rip off artists in NSW who want $6K for ugly little things that look like something out of a shelter.

I bet I could swap @tim_brissy_13 a sabinara for one. He knows I would love one of his princesses.

He only has one I think and they do cost more than a sabinara. More like a very rare variegated Japanese rhapis

You won’t trade a variegated rhapis for one because it clumps! But i might have something of interest for you for sure.

I am not parting with any of mine, they are my children. Erica breeds them for the shows but you can't keep all of them. Well there is one I might trade but she is such a crabby old bitch you would send her back again.

It shows great dedication to take back a palm that is not being cared for . I think you only did that for the palm’s sake. A true selfless act.

OK , therapy session over , the bill is in the mail. Dr. Harry😂

There gods creatures no matter what, and you have to love them no matter what there personality is, an old dog has lived there days in glory and in the elder days they give so much love, a true lifetime friend. I only eve4 had one dog and she was a red cattle and wherever I went she came along with me.

I never leave home as a rule without one of the kids.  My big old 59kilo Bloodhound, Watson, was also my assistance dog and went everywhere, even the hospital with me, until he passed away 2 years ago.  He has been much missed by all. He was a local celebrity too.

@peachy , that is quite the companion . Watson looks like he was well loved. When our neighbors bought the house next door they told us they had a dog , a pit bull . They also had two young children and , not being a dog person but lover of animals , I kind of raised an eye. They could tell I was concerned so they told me to wait while they brought their dog out to meet us . Wally was the hugest pit bull I had ever seen! He would just walk up to anyone and lean against you . If dogs smile (I believe they can ) Wally always had a big smile , ready to make friends. Unfortunately he had heart disease that eventually took him . I don’t think , in the years he lived next door , I heard him bark more than a couple times! Harry

Pit bulls are illegal to own here but I blame the type of people who want aggressive dogs. I have only met 3 or 4 Pitties but each one was a delightful, friendly and affectionate dogs. Chihuahuas and Pekingese have a reputation for being nasty and yappy so anyone who visits me gets a shock when they get licked and smooched by my kids.

Oh no!  Watson was my favorite Palmtalk dog!  Now I guess my favorite are @Josue Diaz's Huskies.  I haven't seen them in a while - hope they're still going good!

@happypalms - love it that you rescued that palm of yours!  :)

He was a total darling but for 2 years he was horrendous to live with. The most destructive brat I ever knew, even though he was so well exercised and rarely alone. Not many of the little ones go through the naughty stage but if one does it is only a bit of chewing. Big dogs all go through it and wreak havoc until their brain matures.  @Fusca He was the most photographed doggy in town and everyone knew his name and loved him.

What you described there is  what my wife says about me, apart from being a dog and photographed a lot. You can’t explain how a dog makes you feel it’s a wonderful feeling only a dog and there master know that bond. Iam half tempted to get another dog, but my year old kitty Kat will not like that.
