Lethal yellowing? Or stress?

Is this lethal yelllowing? I brought it from south Florida and it’s been in the ground for 3 months. I don’t want to start a new virus. Thank you, and have a good day!

Did you buy it or take it from the ground?  I might be transplant shock.  What species is it?  Looks like either a Sabal or a Phoenix but I'm guessing Sabal.  If so they can be difficult to transplant

It’s a coconut I yanked out of the ground.

That looks like stress. Doesn't look like any type of phytoplasma disease to me.

You’re way up by Jacksonville. Your Coconut will be VERY lucky to make it through one winter up there. :(

They get that over the winter due to low soil temperatures and/or exposure to frost.  Since you shelter yours, it's more likely chilling damage.

Very unlikely that you'll ever see lethal yellowing its not near as prevalent as it used to be. Just looks like shock you might see more of it as its adjusting to the area its planted in.
