Good inexpensive place to buy from

Hi guys, what’s a good inexpensive place for seeds and seedlings? I tried the marketplace here but I keep seeing old ads or pick up only, maybe I’m not sorting the results correctly. I’m not that good at telling one seed or seedling from another, so I don’t want to just order from anywhere and either get an old dud or something totally different. Since germination takes so long with palms I don’t want to waste time. Thanks for the advice.

I’ve had good success on Etsy for both seeds and live plants.  There are also some common palms on the well-known sites like Simplytrees.

Wekiva Foliage is the best IMO for live plants online.  May not be the cheapest, but they ship in a pot vs bare root. And have a huge selection. Bare root shipments basically stall the plant for a full year (if it survives), but is the most common way shipped.

Palmpeii Nursery is also great for zone8 seedlings online. Very cost effective.

For big box stores, I’ve had more luck at Lowe’s over any others. Also some local Farmers Markets.

Hope this helps!
