Hi guys, starting over again. This time I’m going with dwarf palmetto and windmill, before branching out again. What are the fastest and largest cultivars of each? Also do they come in different shades or colors like some other palms? Please include some pictures so I know what I’m hearing about. Thanks.

For the Windmill the only cultivar is the Waggie, but there are many different species of Trachycarpus available but none are as cold hardy.

For Sabal minor, any of the large types will be faster growing like Emerald Isle Giant.  If you want fast probably best to go with a  Sabal "Louisiana".  I think you're in Oklahoma??  If so I'd go with a McCurtain, very cold hardy and they can get reasonably big.  There are no specific "Blue" variety of minor but in general a lot of minors have a bluish tinge to them anyway.
