For me , other than the emergence of the red frond , the size of each frond is so impressive . My C. Macrocarpa is getting very large fronds for the size of the palm. Those that you have are very nice. Harry

Luckily I can still see the new red flush from the 2nd floor lanai, still as intense as ever. (Not when this photo was taken). Like a lot of palms here however, they never seem to stop growing. A striking specimen in any garden.

You can’t beat them gor ease of growing, cool tolerance, leaf size and a medium pace growing palm putting out new red leaves. Fantastic in a group of 3 or 5.

Beautiful as usual in the land of Hawaii. Solid looking palms. Chambeyronia will always be a popular palm.

Here are a few of my Chambeyronia hookerii. They aren’t currently throwing any flaming red leafs but still look nice and are one of my favorites.
