I would like to publicly thank a friend from New Zealand who sent me seeds of 3 species of palms, I don't want to mention his name, but THANKS YOU!
I take this opportunity to thank the others who sent me seeds from Italy, Greece, France and the USA, and it's nice to know that after being absent from this forum for 5 years, the friends I had have not forgotten me

This community is wonderful. I got into a bad spot and had to move pretty quick and left most of my palms behind. I got a few care packages of some seeds, seedlings, and some really cool exotic stuff I wouldn't be able to afford and never thought to grow.

Honestly I've killed most of it, but that's not the point. This is a kind and caring community filled with warm and generous people. Out of all the gifts, the most meaningful was a note that said younger people like me (I'm 46!) are the future of this hobby, and that meant the world to me.

I like how the seeds are packaged.  Minimal chance of confiscation before delivery!

I was in bed for 4 and a half years, I lost almost everything, but God wanted to give me a second chance
I have been participating in this forum for many years, 2 times a year I went to the botanical garden of Naples and collected seeds or exchanged them or gave them away

Advantage through innovation! Someone has to make the start and other people follow. It has worked this way since the dawn of humanity.

The world is not as bad as some people think or make it out to be. I have traveled overseas and met people who are the same as myself and others. When you are gifted something when you are feeling a little down or are not happy in a certain situation it gives faith in humankind again and it lifts your spirit. What is your spirit is up to how you feel inside. And it’s a wonderful thing to feel that spirit. It gives you a different thought pattern and breaks that feeling you had for the better. After all we are a pack animal. We are not superior beings and need to have control over others. We are only given a limited number of breaths of air and once we use all that breath, all is revealed in that one last breath we take for eternity!

The only thing I can see a problem with is customs Australia taking the fun out seeds and importing them but that’s another story. Keep up the spirit Gyuseppe!
