One end of the greenhouse has a bit of water going through at the moment. There was always a seasonal spring at the back of the greenhouse and when it rains good the spring flows at a rate of about 200 gallons per hour a good flow rate for a seasonal spring in my area. I have another spring that even has a bigger flow rate that will Last about 6 weeks which has been flowing for about 3 months due to the constant wet weather with over 1500mm in 3 months of constant wet weather and I love it along with the garden.

That will bring the humidity up a bit. It looks like you’re going to have a wet year there …..or is this normal for you? Harry

I have never seen it this wet before For 3 months of it and an incredible amount of rain later, so yes the wettest I have ever seen and I have been living here all my life all 55 years of it. Record breaking weather.

Weather can and will throw curve balls every now and then . We have just the opposite this past year , not even half our “normal” rainfall. Most storms missed us as we sat under a blanket of high pressure. This , after two years of almost double the rainfall. I do believe the overall climate has changed in my short 70 years of life , 65 years here in Ventura County. Hang in there Richard , most palms love the extra rain provided the drainage is good. It’s a wet season so far. Your climate doesn’t sound like my style of gardening climate, even my area can get extremely dry. But I love living in one of the best parts of the world, it’s where I was born and raised so I wouldn’t trade it for anything, well maybe cairns or Hawaii!

We get 46" of precipitation annually. I had to look up the metric conversion...1,168 mm, which largely falls from mid October thru April.

Everything looks very healthy! Well done.

That’s a dry season for us. The mid north coast just had record breaking floods. 4 lives lost due to floodwaters and countless animals and livestock lost quite devastating for the towns.
