The good old atrovirens. A landscapers delight, so easy to work with tolerant of all sorts of abuse, and will still look good. A palm that seems to take a back seat to its more ornamentaly desired cousin. But when it’s at its best after a good drink then it shines its beauty hands down. A true winner in any collection from a collectors point of view.!

I see these at nurseries and never got them . They cram so many in pots that it would take some effort to seperate them . Don’t they clump anyway? They are labeled “Cat Palms” . Harry

ps.  I like the Spanish Moss !

Cataractarum? I miss mine, and wish I brought it with me. But I have no idea where I'd put it. It started out as a $20 big box store mail order plant I got during COVID and it got huge. Also mine wasn't a bunch of seedlings, it was just one plant. I kept my apartment pretty cold, and I rarely watered it. It just sat in a corner and grew like a weed. Got to the point where I had to tie some fronds back because it was blocking my TV. Lol maybe 3 years of growth indoors in crap conditions.

Old sales trick that one usually a dozen plants to a container. The trick is a we all know seperate them as singles for a much better garden plant. Yer I got the heading wrong on this palm atrovirens, you think of all people that should know his chamaedoreas would be me you get that on a big job🤣

You gotta love a man who fills his house with palms and watches the footy around them putting up with a blocked view 👍
