Is my date palm dying/dead?

Featured Replies

Hi all! Hoping for some assurance that my date palm is going to be ok. It was installed 3 months ago , transported from another location. We watered regularly for first 6 weeks (including probably some overwatering) but then we have been lapse since and has hardly had any water.  The guy who installed it now seems a bit worried when he came to view (pics attached). Does it look like a water issue or perhaps a nutrient issue instead? It’s coming into winter here so tree May go dormant for a while and may not be able to tell if new healthy growth for 4 months or so. Thanks in advance for any advice or comments
