With Hurricane season approaching I thought this was a good read in case you missed it.

 

173 years of Hurricane Strikes

- 1,167 landfalls between 1851-2024

- Mid Atlantic is region Hurricanes are least likely to hit

- 1880s Hold the record for most landfall Hurricanes 

- Blue Hill Observatory recorded the strongest Hurricane-related surface wind 186 mph
