In my time I have been called many things eg the cat lady,  the dog lady, the nice lady, the crabby lady, lady of the stage, the big hair lady,  oh the list goes on.   After receiving a surprise package yesterday, people can now add The silver lady, lady to the list of Peachy oriented nomenclature.  Why Why Why everybody must be asking,  Garn Luv spill ya lips ! Okay you eager little beavers, I shall share the story with you. In a far away place, deep in the wilds of Queensland, is a little town called Brisbane. In that town lives a lovely sweetie possum by the name of Cannonball.  After reading about my  paucity of Hyophorbe hybrids and knowing well his own genius of germinating palm seeds,  he kindly sent me a huge parcel of Silver Lady seedlings.  Is not that a lovely thoughtful thing to do ? So now from being a Silver Lady free zone, I now have over 30  strong, healthy (okay give me time to kill a few) seedlings.  In a few weeks time when the little ladies have settled into their new pots, I will share the bounty with other hybrid deprived individuals.  Not sharing any of them however with 2 greedy little girls who keep saying "Don't be so greedy Mother, let us eat a couple of them,"   I ignore those big pleading eyes however as palms are not permitted to used as nourishment in this house. One of the villainous pair (Pearl) is pictured below.  Thank you again @Cannonball for the lovely babies.

Argh yes the crazy cat 🐈‍⬛ lady syndrome we all know who she is. Even the Simpsons had a crazy cat lady with a shopping trolley full of cats throwing her cats at people, well at least she was outside enjoying life throwing cats at people. Being a silver lady has many great joys in life like receiving gifts of rare palms and rightfully so she should enjoy the finer palms in life at her age. @Cannonball has seen the joy in making a silver lady happy in her life without throwing cats with just a few simple silver lady palms as a gift of sharing the palm love around with or without cats. And iam sure pearl will have a few to eat after all fine dining on rare past must have been a past life experience for such decadent pooches living in harmony with there silver lady palms. And the joy of sharing is a wonderful gift of free smiles and happiness.
