I planted some Buccaneer palms about a month ago and they have some dark discoloration on the stems and leaves. (Pics attached for reference)

To me the discoloration looks kind of dark purple in color.

Could it be transplant shock or maybe a fungal issue or something else?

Thanks Y’all

I would say fungus, try peroxide down the crown and make sure the mulch is not against the plant base (about an inch) and no sprinklers hit the crown. Drip is best if irrigation is needed, they dont want to stay wet at all and love super hot sun. If its wet and shaded thats a recipe for disaster, but its hard to tell if its shaded or cloudy in the pictures.
