Giuseppe you are a tough contester for the championship in Phoenix hybrids! Sometimes initial size of  the seedling depends on size of the seed, which in turn depends on size of the plant or/and number of mature fruits in the same infructescens. Sometimes roebelenii hybrids are very slow initially (with theophrasti and reclinata) others not (with dactylifera) but pick up speed exponentially with age.  About the length of eophyll of dactylifera hybrids I share a similar experience. Below are two seedlings on the L of dactylifera x theophrasti and on the R several pure dactylifera seedlings of two different cultivars, a known one (Barhi) and an unknown one.

Konstantinos, not all is lost, in total I have 4 phoenix roebelenni x dactylifera and 6 roebelenii x reclinata
I took the pollen from the botanical garden of Naples, a person who lives in my city works there, he went shopping at my brother's shop, and that's how I met him about 15 years ago

sorry, I don't know how to post photos, my son does, but my son has 3 degrees and is a mathematician and a physicist,He's currently too busy with work
