  Hi there, 

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am making a photo book that includes lots of images of palms, and I wanted to give some facts about palms in countries I have photographed in the introduction. Would anyone be able to share the total native numbers to date for the following?

Species in the Arecaceae family as a whole.
Native species in the Americas as a whole. 
Native species in the continent of North America.
Native species in the countries of Vietnam, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Thailand (individually).

Any help would be gratefully received.
