Here are just a few impressions.

There was not enough time for more...

Yes😄, they do a great job.
In the same hall where the musa varieties are, there are also a lot of cacti.
But I didn't have enough time. There are 3 halls in total which are heated in winter. The palms and other exotics are in a separate hall for overwintering, at about 16 degrees Celsius. Phoenix canariensis /dactylifera, chamaerops humilis tall, trachycarpus, cordyline, citrus species and others. The light was poor there.
And outside there are many other plant species from various continents.
1 hall still at the end, there they also had a Washingtonia robusta with over 19 ft, which they cut down, a drama, because the leaves reached the roof. We were very annoyed about that...

Hi Tom

It`s nice to have a fellow palm nerd from the lake in this forum :)

Thanks for the pictures.  Looks like St. Gallen would be worth a visit. I must admit, I`ve seen St. Gallen only when I had to change trains and never been there outside the main station.

Have you ever been to the masoala hall at the Zurich Zoo? That is definitely worth a whole day visit! In my opinion, one of the best artificial tropics I`ve ever seen.

Greetings from Konstanz!
