Pre-emergent and weed/feed combinations around palms

Good morning everyone. There are a lot of discussions on here about the upcoming cold weather again but I want to be optimistic and start thinking about spring. February and March is when the first application is recommended of products like pre-emergents and weed and feed combinations to control weeds and keep lawns looking great. If anyone has palms planted in the middle of lawns that have seen these products, does it hurt palms? Should I keep it a safe distance away? Any recommendations? I would appreciate anyone’s experience on this. Thank you.

I use Lesco crabgrass & preemergent on the lawn. Yellow bag. Thick mulch around palms (Trachycarpus) the diameter of the crown.
