I had a few spare adscendens in the greenhouse and a nice little spot in the garden for a group planting. There was already three mature ones in the spot so why not a group planting to accompany them. I think they look rather cute like little turtles running around the garden. Now all I have to do is plant the other three hundred I have around the garden!

I had 50 of them in 2019, the last year I sowed, but they all died

Mine is safe in his pot in the shade house.  I am not game to plant anything in this awful heat. Also the rain this time of year comes down so hard and heavy, even the big plants are getting knocked about.

You will have to do some more adscendans, I get a few spare seeds now and then.

Hi peachy how have you been going, I know how much you loath the heat you should try the humidity here today like cairns. Iam not planting a lot at the moment either, only a few tough species I will plant  more in autumn just to hot and it could dry out to much again in summer. It a rain all month if it wants I love it and so does my garden. Do you have any iriatia deltoidea in your collection?

It has been raining almost every day here and as usual the humidity is brutal. Yes the heat affects me badly and the last 8 or 9 weeks have been spent just laying on the bed and only getting up to feed the animals. My vision comes and goes, I can't stand up at all and my hand/eye co-ordination is so bad that I can't work and even using the laptop is hit and miss most days.  On top of all the dental work the kids have been having, Pandora got a dreadful eye infection to the point that the vet was thinking about removing her eyes completely.  It was an awful time but after much expense and medications it has healed but left her with very poor vision. She will need the meds for the rest of her life but at least she still has eyes and can see enough to get around.  No I don't have any I deltoidea.  They are lovely things but far too slow growing to be of any use and the few I have seen around were massive things so it's not on my list of must haves.

Yes the heat is miserable so humid but the palms love it. Yes our pets are number one if only more people where responsible as yourself and care for there pets like we do. It’s amazing the amount of love that people put into there pets and gives one faith in humanity that there are like minded people such as us who care for animals the way we do. Iam sure your palms are waiting to see you asap and you can get back into the garden soon. I asked about the iritia as I got given some seeds the other day I will keep one spare for you if any germinate.
