I have a bunch in light soil in ziplock bags under heating pads. Heat isn't an issue, but seem to be dormant for the past 3 months. No progress. Any suggestions?

I've had good luck cycling between warmer daytime temps and cooler nighttime temps.

I am just over three months in trying butia x syagrus seeds. I had just one seed with a small sprout of about 1 cm at 3 months.

So, I think they just take a long time. I hope that is the case anyway. I am planning on giving mine at least six months on the heat mat if needed. If I don't have good success by March, I will probably sow any unsprouted seeds in a flower bed and see if nature can do any better.
