Desmond Muirhead was a golf course architect among numerous other interests. He may have had an architectural education. He also was a Palm nut, and was the author of "Palms" in 1961. I had him sign my copy when he came to our golf course, where he played a major role in its design.

I have Muirhead's book also,  however unsigned !

When I first read about Levitated Mass I thought it to be a stupid idea,  but when I experienced it in life I had to acknowledge that I really enjoyed walking beneath it.

It is a terrific little book. I love the dedication above his signature too.
