Palms: tallest, biggest, largest, etc., of species

In the relatively small circle I travel in here in central Florida, sometimes venturing farther south, I'm constantly looking for the biggest, tallest, largest, etc., of palms, tropical trees, shrubs, plants, etc.

I really haven't found anything so far of record breaking proportions, but I have found a few specimens of note.

This tall Washingtonia robusta palm is one of them, but I'm sure this palm is only par compared to some of the tall, skinny robustas growing out in So. Cal. What's notable about this palm is that it is, i.e., since Florida is considered the lightning capital of the USA, most tall growing palm species don't reach full maturity before being struck down.

This W. robusta is growing at Clewiston, Florida, at the south end of Lake Okeechobee:

This Sabal palmetto (aka cabbage palm) is growing in Highlands Hammock State Park, Sebring, Florida. There's multiple dozens of old one in the 80 feet plus range. The tallest one was 90 feet when it was cut down like a dog by lightning. I took this photo standing at the palm's base, looking up:

This is the tallest Xbutiagrus palm I've found growing in my environs. I'm constantly on the look out for larger specimens:

Mad about palms

Up here in Jacksonville there's two Queen Palms that are the biggest I've ever seen.  They're in someone's back yard right up against the road and you can see them clearly from the street.
