I just bought a triple of these.  Do they want wet feet like the other archontophoenix?

Mine sure does! They are much more robust , larger bottle shaped trunks. The fronds are a bit darker and more arching . You probably already knew that . The same watering habits as the  other Archontophoenix. Harry

I agree. I don't think you can over water them. When I first planted my Archontophoenix Alexandrae, it was grown in shade and I threw it in sun, which made it very unhappy. But I watered it twice a day to nurse it along for the first few months and it adapted. But yeah, definitely no issue with watering it that much. I honestly think they can sit in water and be fine. There's a thread here on palmtalk I remember reading of that actually happening.
