My potted coconut seems to not be happy right now, as it’s currently starting to have fronds die. It already lost 2 small fronds, and now it seems these fronds are gonna die aswell, idk what’s causing this besides it just not like being indoors for a couple of months. Anyone have an idea on what could be going on?

I think at that immature age their fronds burn and die a lot and it even happens during summer so I think it a normal part of their leaf cycle. The important part is that they’re pushing out replacement leaves quick enough to replace them because that is how they really grow. In my thread I post an update of the 9 immature cocos every couple weeks and you can see they’re constantly having older fronds showing damage all through summer and winter. I’ve only started noticing 3 cocos stop this now that they’re about a year old and they seem to retain their leaves without damage longer.

Those newer leaves I can see above look very happy and healthy so they think that is a indicator it is happy and healthy
