Landscaping lighting - Ring-style up-lights for bigger palms

Anyone have any luck with these type of landscape lights for larger trunk palms?

Four lights in that ring are likely overkill - just new two LEDs on one side of palm, and get it up high enough on the trunk past the birds of paradise shadowing them. Also like how you don't have to bolt it into the trunk and not cut into it.

I need to get up lights to my larger queen here. I do have ground-level brass lights from Volt Lighting, but as you can see the birds of paradise have taken over and blocked the up-light. Call it a good problem to have. :)

Any hoots welcome thoughts on the ring light device, and/or other methods to get up-lighting to Queen. Cutting back the bird of paradise is non-starter. Need the privacy screen.
