Best palm tree for Colorado zone 6a

What do you think the best palm tree for zone 6a in colorado? (where I live the winters arent super harsh)

Creating multiple threads to ask the same exact question is unnecessary and creates clutter.

I don’t know what kind of response you’re looking for, because what has been said in your previous threads is the same answer you will get in this thread and the other thread you created earlier as well. The answer will not change because you worded the question slightly different.

If you’re looking to grow more tender stuff, pots are the only way to go about it. If people in Canada can grow a bunch of palms in pots, then you can do it in Colorado.

Hahaha. You can't associate all of us Canadians in the same climate. On the outer fringes of the Pacific, we are in zones 8 - 9a.

Not being rude, just stating fact. Having a container ranch was a real suggestion by the way, you just gotta do some research on what will perform well indoors for a portion of the year.

Haha I didn’t know there were areas in Canada as warm as my zone in Florida. Really though, it is doable lol

I don't regard @JLM's statement hostile. Perhaps separate accounts are what's needed and some reviewing of the threads prior to posting. You & your "brother" have very like minded questions and written arrangements.

Seattle, Vancouver and Victoria BC are all about the same climactically. Rainy winters with a few periodic ephemeral cold snaps. Dry warm summers.

I see your statement has brother in quotations. Its true when you say we have likeminded questions and written arrangements but its wrong by saying you don't have a brother. I understand your thinking may be that I don't have a brother that shares this account and that's fine its your opinion. I just don't understand why you would assume that immediately.

First off, I did not say you don't have a brother. What I am saying is I'm cautiously suspicious when much of what's been posted is composed in a very similar manner. Assuming you do have a brother as you state, what's typically common practice is for each person to create there own individual profile. This eliminates doubling up and over posting similar topics from seemingly the same person. It unnecessarily introduces confusion and repetition. No hard feelings, just sorting out a simple matter.

your best option is to get a needle palm or a Sabal Minor and plant them on a South facing wall and protect them over the winter but if you live in the west part of colorado i would recommend gating a Washingtonia robusta or washingtonia filibusta and give them some protection over the winter.

Regardless, I'm looking forward to their individual responses should they acquire separate account profiles.
