Hardy palm trees hardy to zone six (maybe zone 7 as long as it requires minimal protection). Yes I am aware the needle palm is hardy to zone 6.

The most cold-hardy trunking palm is Trachycarpus fortunei, rated z8. Guaranteed to 10° F, below that you will see leaf burn. I am in the Atlanta metro area. December 2022 we saw 5° F. Some palms were untouched, some had older leaves bronzed, some were defoliated. So if you get a good one, it'll be OK in z7b but below 10° I would be protecting it.
