hello - looking for some guidance on my bismarck palm.  Starting last summer i had a fron that was dead completely open up.  This year i have two more frons where this happened.  In addition, i currently have another fron that seems deformed.  See attached picture - looking for some guidance.  thx, norm

Welcome to PalmTalk . That is a very nice Bizmarkia . From what I can see it is fairly old so it must do well in your climate. I know nothing about growing in Arizona or Bizmarkia palms. In general , palms like water and plenty of organic mulch or top soil. It looks like the soil around your palm is dry and a bit crusty . It could be that the entire root ball is not getting the water or nutrients it needs. Maybe break up the top layer of dirt and mix in some garden soil at least an inch or more deep allowing the water to seep equally around the palm . Go out to an area about the size of the crown where you can . Top off with wood chips to help hold the moisture . I refresh the mulch about three time a year , each time you do this it should get easier as the mulch breaks down into the existing soil. Maybe someone with experience in your environment can better direct you but that is where I would start. Harry

I'm not sure how the climate in Havasu City compares to Phoenix, but this Bismarkia seemed to be having similar issues that were solved by significantly increased watering:
