@RainforestCafe - The majority of my bromeliads are generational (bought it’s parent years ago). Most “pup” but a few don’t… there’s one expensive one in particular that will never pup for me (yet I keep buying it, like an idiot). 🤪

My favorites are those that pup often, and keep their colors in a variety of lighting conditions. Others are “prima donnas” that I have to keep moving around until I figure out the amount of light where it looks good (I.e. fades if too much sun, or loses all color if too much shade). 🌤️

Once I know each plant’s lighting preferences, I can then arrange them in a way that looks good to my eyes. Broms are so easy to move I often “refresh” part of a bed for fun. Unlike palms, you can pop out a bromeliad at any point. 🌺
